Lightweight tracking mode was developed for those who prioritize privacy. It provides essential analytics without storing any personally identifiable information.
How it works
The lightweight pixel records each visit anonymously using a combination of anonymized IP + user agent + date — without creating any persistent identifier in the visitor's browser. No cookies, no localStorage.
Advantages
- Extremely lightweight script (under 1 KB compressed)
- Zero impact on page load time (loads asynchronously)
- GDPR, CCPA and LGPD compliant by default
- No cookie consent banner required
- Works even with moderately aggressive ad blockers
Limitations
- Cannot associate a visit with previous visits from the same user
- Heatmaps not available
- Session replays not available
- Custom visitor parameters not available
What gets tracked
- Page visited and full URL
- Referrer (where the visitor came from)
- Country and city (via IP, without storing the IP)
- Device, operating system and browser
- Screen resolution and browser language
